We are running a pop up Neighbour Café, offering a free city-centre space for artists to plug their shows, show off their talents and deliver light performances at the Brighton Fringe pop-up café 21st -27th May. The café will be open 11am-7pm at One Church Brighton, Gloucester Place, on the edge of the North Laine. It’s an ideal spot to connect, promote your shows and introduce new audiences to the arts. It’s like busking indoors – with great coffee and without the risk of a seagull pooping on your head.
The café is part of a citywide community project aimed at sparking social connections to create a better city. The Brighton-wide Know My Neighbour week will feature different initiatives and will be running across the city to encourage neighbourly activity as a way of tackling social isolation. Neighbour Café is part of Brighton Fringe 2016 and an emerging venue and collaborative space hosting shows, festivals and social projects in a vaulted, airy church space.
