Last year we distributed 3,000 free Christmas cards throughout Brighton and Hove to encourage people to get to know their neighbours. Due to the success of last year, and with Christmas being the perfect excuse for neighbours to get together with those around them, we will be continuing the Christmas card campaign this year!
This time around we are trying to go further afield in the city, reaching out to the Hove and Hangleton areas. Cards will be available at card pick up points throughout the city- see the map below to find out the nearest pick up point to you!
We encourage residents to send these free cards to their neighbours to initiate a first point of contact. This is a simple and easy way to reach out to those nearby who might find this time of year particularly difficult if they are living alone or are not surrounded by familiar faces.
Here are our two card designs:
Thank you to Jack Noel for donating the Brighton & Reindeer image and Hannah Turpin for donating the Brighton Huts image.
